Assistant Wedding Coordinator Internship

  • Liaison between vendors and bride/groom.

  • Responsible for ensuring wedding party fulfilled their responsibilities and that guests were being treated properly.

 

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Internship

March 2016, 2017:

  • Educated and answered guest questions about animals.

  • Responsible for feeding, walking, and cleaning up after animals on mini breed row.

 

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE                    

The Big Event April 2016: Volunteered for the largest, one day, student-run service project in the nation. A way of saying thank you to the residents of the Bryan/College Station community by doing yard work, painting fences, and washing windows.

 

Aggie Replant Day October 2016: Replanted over four hundred trees in the Bryan/College Station community to bring students together while improving the environment through yearly tree planting.

 

Wiener Fest October 2016: Volunteered at Wiener Fest by working the registration table to sign participants and their pets up for the races and costume contest. Also, included directing guests to the correct booths.

 

Blooms on the Brazos 2016-2017: Made and delivered floral arrangements to elderly residents in nursing homes around Bryan and College Station.

Pi Alpha Xi Member (September 2017-Present): National Horticulture Honor Society that recognizes and encourages excellence in all aspects of horticulture through scholarships, fellowships, professional leadership, and the enrichment of human life through plants.

Texas A&M Student American Institute of Floral Design Member (August 2016-Present): Student organization designed to help members grow as individuals and improve themselves as floral designers by allowing students to help design and create arrangements for events around campus.

 

Texas A&M Horticulture Club Member (January 2016-May 2017): Student organization working to develop and enhance member’s horticultural skills and provide educational activities in all sectors of horticulture.

 

Texas A&M Cupcakes Member (January 2016-May 2017): Student organization dedicated to bringing Aggies together through their love of baking and serving the community by hosting bake sales to raise money for the Brazos Valley Food Bank.

 

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Member (January 2015-December 2015): Honor society that recognizes academic achievement of two-year college students, and is dedicated to encouraging individual growth and leadership development.
